About Al Dhafra Region
Al Dhafra region where the sea meets the desert. Al Dhafra makes up more than two-thirds of Emirate of Abu Dhabi Area, extending over hundreds of kilometres, consisting of beaches and islands of attractive nature as well as destinations that reflect the ancient history of the region, which has been revived through a large number of ancient forts that merge with the magnificent landscape.
Within the many different urban and development projects taking place in the region, in the educational, economic, industrial and tourism fields. Many health projects have recently been completed and future plans have been adopted to develop health services in the region, such as developing old hospitals, increasing their absorptive capacity, providing them with the latest medical devices and equipment, and establishing more hospitals and treatment centres in light of the successive population increase.
The health services also include many national competent medical teams. and they are in a continuous effort to achieve the best service standards that befit the status of the region, and are in line with the volume of government interest in response to the requirements of advancing the health reality in accordance with the capital’s vision and strategy for the year 2030, where the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi oversees the implementation of government strategies and directives related to the development of the Al Dhafra region.
