Dr. Mariam Al Mehairbi has more than 21 years of experience in healthcare industry. She served as a Chief Medical Officer at Al Rahba Hospital – SEHA in Abu Dhabi for the last 10 months and also served in various Senior Medical Leadership at Al Dhafra Hospitals – SEHA for more than 11 years. She served as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Al Dhafra Hospitals since 2020. Before that, she has held the position of acting CMO at Madinat Zayed Hospital 2016-2020.

Dr. Mariam holds an Arab Board of Medical Specializations in Family Medicine as well MRCGP, is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Examination (CPHQ), holds a Professional Diploma in Healthcare Management, and a Master’s in Healthcare Management. She also possesses IHM certificates in Healthcare Financial Management, Healthcare Strategy and Planning, and Patient Safety and Risk Management.

Over the years, she had made countless of achievements in the healthcare industry which led her to be nominated twice as part of SEHA’s Best 1000 Employee Award. Dr. Mariam has been recognized with several awards, including the Distinguished Leader Award in 2019, the Award for Excellence in Implementing Cardiac Catheterization Service in 2019, award during Innovation dome 2018.
